The hotel is in the perfect center of York townsite, with clean and comfortable rooms, although the double size bed was a bit unusual. The location is fabulous, right in the heart of town, but there were some noise issues with the air conditioning resembling a cement mixer. The service was generally polite and courteous, despite some initial disruption.

The detailed instructions on accessing the room made it a breeze, and being next door was super convenient. The service was top-notch, with a stand-alone time-share owner who was incredibly courteous and apologetic for any inconvenience. The location was superb, with a real heritage feel and being right in the heart of York but tucked away from the main street, offering peace and quiet while still being close to all the action.
